The following testimony related by Jason and Andrea Morrison, AGWM Personnel in the Czech Republic illustrates what God can do when someone prays.

The marriage of a lady in the Brno church had become very strained because her husband resented her decision to follow Christ. He even said, "Other women find lovers. Why can't you be like them? Why did you have to find this Jesus instead?" When she would pray or talk about God, it would only make the situation in their home and relationship worse.

But that was until a year ago when her husband suffered a stroke and was paralyzed. Each day the wife prayed for him, served him, and cared for him without seeing any change. Then one day her husband called from the other room, "I feel at peace when you pray for me. Do you think we could pray together?"

Since that time her husband has given his life to Jesus and now he asks his wife to come and pray with him throughout the day. It took years of patience, a year of paralysis, and prayer but her husband finally believes!
